We are a community of Jesus followers that gather together on Sundays at 10.30am at the Wolf Performance Hall and meet from house to house in Community Groups throughout the week.
Our mission is to follow Jesus together and make disciples. We do this by living out the Great Commission (Matthew 28) and the Great Commandment (Mark 12).
We dwell in the city of London, Canada and have a heart to see God renew our city through the proclamation and demonstration of the gospel.
We pray as a church every Sunday from 10-10.15am in the atrium before our gatherings. We also set aside the second Thursday of every month to pray. Our next prayer gathering will be happening Thursday, February 12th at 21 Kingsbridge St. (Dru + Heather's House).
Our teaching series for the month of February is called LOVE DOES. We are going to walk through the letter of 1 John as a church. Join us Sundays at 10.30am at The Wolf Performance Hall.
On Sunday, January 25th we are hosting Plan To Protect Sunday. It will be a morning for our entire church to go through the policies, procedures and training that keep City View safe.
In our gathering on Sunday, March 8th we are having child dedications. If you are interested in having your child dedicated please let us know at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The term cutting room floor is used in the film industry as a figure of speech referring to unused footage not included in the finished film. We are going to take a few weeks and look at some engaging topics from the bible that are very rarely tackled in our weekly sermons.
These topics will include:
The Rapture (January 4th)
Hell (January 11th)
God's Sovereignty and Human Free Will (January 18th)
Is the end of the story that Jesus followers escape this planet to some place else? On Sunday, January 4th we took some time to look at what the scriptures say about the "Rapture." Where did the idea come from?
Is Hell an underground torture chamber? How can a loving God send people to Hell? These are some of the questions we looked at on Sunday, January 11th.
